História

Thomas Peter Odell é um cantor e compositor inglês nascido em Chichester, em novembro de 1990. Ele alcançou grande destaque mundial com sucessos como a música "Another Love" e o lançamento de diversos álbuns de estúdio.

Thomas Peter Odell nasceu em Chichester, no Reino Unido, e teve contato com a música ainda na infância ao observar a avó tocar piano, instrumento que aprendeu a tocar com a ajuda de sua irmã. Na adolescência, começou a escrever suas próprias canções em segredo e, após estudar na British and Irish Modern Music Institute em Brighton e integrar brevemente a banda Tom & The Tides, decidiu seguir carreira solo para não depender de outras pessoas.

A carreira de Odell ganhou forte impulso quando foi descoberto pela cantora Lily Allen, o que o levou a assinar contrato com um selo da Columbia Records. Seu talento foi reconhecido com o prêmio BRITs Critics' Choice Award em 2013, mesmo ano em que lançou seu aclamado álbum de estreia, Long Way Down, que alcançou o topo da parada oficial do Reino Unido e incluiu o hit "Another Love". Ao longo dos anos seguintes, ele continuou a expandir sua discografia com novos projetos de estúdio, como Wrong Crowd, Jubilee Road e monsters.

Sua trajetória artística também é marcada por importantes premiações, como o título de compositor do ano no Ivor Novello Awards, além de diversas canções suas integrarem trilhas sonoras de filmes, séries e campanhas publicitárias de grande visibilidade.
